Union Trademark

An EU trademark protects its mark throughout the European Union. With an EU trademark, a single application in one language can obtain trademark protection in all EU member states. You can file an EU trademark application exclusively with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Once registered, an EU trademark is valid for ten years. After that, it can be renewed as many times as desired, each time for ten years.
